Hi and a big welcome from PC1.
We are looking forward to lots of things this year,especially making our confirmation!
So far,we have been busy doing athletics,playing rounders,benchball and basketball in P.E.
We each did a mini-project on countries in the E.U. for geography and on volcanoes.
Our first day-trip was to Malahide Yacht Club where we had a day learning to sail.It was a really fun and exciting day!!
We have been very creative in art-making name-tags,drawing and painting portraits of each other,recreating abstract art in the style of Kandinsky,making skeletons from pasta shapes and of course,our Christmas card-a masterpiece!!
In history,we have studied the Celts and their seriously scary traditions.We have learned about feasts and festivals around the world.
At Halloween,we discussed fire safety,especially around bonfires and had a party before our mid-term break.
Since coming back,we have started taking part in cycling lessons with Sam.Unfortunately,the weather was against us,so we have yet to get on our bikes!!!!
