MAKING PIZZA

On the ninth of February we made mini pizza. Every body brought in a plate and spoon and one person from every group brought in a bowl. We put tomato puree and a small tin of tomatoes in a bowl and mixed it with mixed Italian herbs. After we mixed it we put the mixture on the pitta breads. Every one brought in grated cheese and their own toppings. Most people put cheese and pepperoni on their pizza. After that we put our pizzas on our plates and lined up to put them in the microwave for one minute. When they came out of the microwave they were really hot so we let them cool down for a minute or two. When they cooled down we ate them and they were really nice.We all said that we would like to make them again at home.

6th Class Moto

During last January we had our sixth class moto, it came from our class. The moto was live, love and joy. We also started to practise our sixth class song that mr Fortune wrote for us. Then laura Behn from our class and Enya Costello from Mr Fortune's class, designed a banner for our motto. Later in the month Mr Healy wanted all the sixth class to come to the hall and sing our new song, he loved it. He also wanted to give us a bookmarker and a badge that Laura and Enya designed. Now everyone in sixth class wears the badge! We are very proud of Laura.

Thriller 09

In December 09 we started to think of ideas for our school play. We had lots of good ideas but we finally decided on the best one ....Thriller. We practiced everyday. We watched the Thriller music video to give us ideas for moves. We all had scary costumes with ripped shirts & trousers. The first time we performed was in front of Ms.Cox's class & they thought it was great. We practiced on the stage & lots of classes watched us. We performed on Fri11, Mon morning & night & Wed16.The teachers & students loved our play. During our play solo dancers came out &danced. The solo dancers were Lucy, Ben, Aoife.F,Shane, Naomi, Keith & Laura.

We really enjoyed doing our last school concert in St. OliverPlunketts.

Our Christmas Card

In October our class made a Christmas card. It took us a long time to decide on one design. Eventually we decided on one design.....'A Snowman'. Everybody got a chance to design a snowman, Laura Jane Behn and Aoife Fitzpatrick were the best two. So Laura and Aoife put their snowmen together to make our Christmas card. One by one we each had a turn to paint the snowman. Several weeks later we finished our Christmas card. After we finished we brought the card to the hall. We all saw great Christmas cards in the hall made by all the other classes. We got great comments from other teachers and students about our card. We also gave great comments about other Christmas cards. Weeks later we got ten Christmas cards each. Ms Magrath said our card was lovely because the design was simple but effective. We enjoyed making our last Christmas card in St. Oliver Plunketts Pc1.....
